My advice to this restaurant is to immediately get rid of this bartender he is losing Business for you and The way he was continually filling the wine glasses of these two women I would assume also losing you money behind the bar.
The the only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because the manager Virginia was willing to try and make it right. Virginia did offer for us to sit down and have a meal on her which we declined, at that point we were too upset and just wanted to leave. Why they’re keeping This bartender I have no idea. The manager Virginia was very nice very apologetic reiterated that they had had problems with this bartender. At this point we got up from the bar and asked the hostess to speak to a manager it was very telling that the hostess said is this because of the bartender! The hostess had stated that there had been several complaints with this bartender. We said to the bartender we have been here for five minutes and you haven’t even acknowledge that we’re here that’s when he took two menus and threw them at us onto the bar. I was in shock that someone in the service industry would even speak to a customer in this manner. I understand if he was truly busy that would not have been a problem but we’re talking 5-7 minutes that he was standing talking to these two women he had plenty of time to take care of whatever it was they needed and still attend to other patrons at the bar. That is when the bartender put his hand up and stated I’ll be with you in a moment I’m busy. I don’t know what else he thought we would be doing sitting at the bar of course we wanted to order some thing. Finally my husband asked the bartender if we could get a menu hoping to get his attention to let him know that we would like to order. The bartender and the two women that he was talking to could see us from where they were setting we were literally 4 feet away. There was NO chance that this bartender did not see us walk into the bar as he was facing the door talking to these two women when we walked in and sat right around the corner from them. minutes while he was chatting up two women at the bar. I sat down at the bar while my husband visited the men’s room upon his return we continued to wait for the bartender to even acknowledge that we were there for an additional 5-7. My husband and I stopped in to Brio for a cocktail. We have had good meals here in the past, but after this we will not be back. The only entrees that were really acceptable were a beef medallions item and a salmon dish. A couple of salads were completely soggy with tasteless dressing, a calamari appetizer was chewy rubber, a lobster bisque was nothing but overly salted broth, and a chicken Milanese entree was tough, with a strange rubbery 'cheese' topping, and spaghetti underneath that they had forgotten to put any tomato sauce on. We declined dessert so as not to prolong the agony. I assume they were short staffed, but that is really not an excuse for the terrible level of service we received. get up and confront our server (who rarely walked by the table). Even getting refills on water required us to.
Service was decidedly sub-par: we basically had to flag down our waitress any time we wanted anything - and that was from the moment we sat down.
Our party of 6 had a bad experience here yesterday.
